This product removes existing calcium deposits and prevents new white scale deposits from forming. White scale deposits form on the edges of water fountains and patio ponds when evaporation of hard water occurs. Hard water is water that contains calcium, and some city water supplies contain more calcium than others. White scale looks like crusty layers of hard white deposits that form a ring around the water line of your fountain or patio pond. These deposits may also be harmful to your pump. Safe for fish and plants. Do not allow domestic animals to drink from treated water.
